The forty-third day of the forty-seventh orbit
At work I studied the poultry project, adapted my SFI method to birds, and showed it to the company leadership. I also showed them my paper in Perspectives of Science. It would be great if we could apply this index in breeding work in practice and run a real-world pilot of the method. If that works out, I may go for a doctoral degree with this method.
Meetings, meetings, meetings. A very hectic week—no time to breathe. I am trying to defend my KPI for the second quarter, and it seems to be working. We’ll see. My wife has started stuffing me with magnesium, Afobazole, and valerian. Apparently she is worried after my breakdown in Suzdal. I need to take care of my nerves.
What really lifted my mood was a video the realtor sent Masha from our little nest under construction. True, the footage was from the fifth floor, where all the glazing is already finished, while ours is on the twelfth and they have not reached it yet. But the view from our balcony promises to be spectacular. We’ll see. In any case, the video gives hope that the building will be delivered on time—at least some justification for the mortgage =)
In the evening I stayed a little late at work. At home my wife and I had a quiet dinner and sat down to watch Mimino. It is an astonishing gap in my wife’s education that she had never seen this wonderful film. I fell asleep somewhere in the middle.
