Musical Closing Mechanisms

The point of my idea is to make the world just a little kinder and more fun. Moving mechanisms like gates, parking barriers, and similar devices usually close automatically, and not instantly - they take a few seconds. What if we attached a simple mechanical device to them, working on the same principle as a music box: a disk with note pins and tuned metal tines. As the gate closes, it would play a simple, funny little melody - something like a cheerful tune from an old children’s TV show, Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood, or a classic Saturday-morning cartoon.
This upgrade would also have a practical purpose. First, people, including those with visual impairments, would hear the closing melody and know to be careful. Second, drivers would be warned when a gate or parking barrier starts opening or closing. While the music is playing, you stay put.
To avoid bothering people, the device should play music that is pleasant, non-irritating, and not too loud. The music cartridges could be replaceable and swapped out from time to time. I think it would be fun.
