A National Brand: Russian — or Even Russkiy — A long time ago, when China began attracting foreign investment by offering cheap labor while also building its manufacturing base, it came up with the brand Made in China. That phrase appeared on every product and became a brand in its own right. Every country now exploits that pattern, including Russia with made in Russia. I propose a national brand built around the domain-style concept Russian. And to promote the phonetic beauty of the Russian language and popularize it, one could also use the transliteration Russkiy.
