Day twenty-five of the 47th loop

I woke up at 7:30 in the morning. Around 9, affectionate little Leah came over, wished me good morning in her lovely sleepy voice, and showered me with kisses—my happiness. I made delicious breakfast rolls with omelet and fish sticks; Masha was pleased. Oatmeal for the girls. Then we did some cleaning and housework, and I made an amazing cabbage soup with young cabbage and beef. After that the nanny came and set us free. We went to Gorod to buy what my wife had not dared to buy the week before.
In the evening we went to an otolaryngologist for Sonya. The doctor turned out to be excellent, and the brand-new private clinic somewhere around Kutuzovsky Prospekt was incredibly cozy. Sonya is completely fine, but he gave us recommendations on what to do during colds. On the way back, at the exit from Rublyovka onto Kutuzovsky toward the city center, a traffic officer ticketed me. Silly situation. They had installed a traffic light there. I was turning on the arrow, but because of a jam ahead caused by indecisive taxi drivers, I stopped on the crosswalk. At exactly the worst possible moment the light changed (or maybe they changed it on purpose), so it looked as though I had driven through and failed to yield to a pedestrian. I did not argue; they wrote me a 1,500-ruble ticket. The officer was actually perfectly polite and told me this happens there often—be careful.
Language study is going steadily. Two full weeks without missing a day—I’m proud of myself.
