Day twenty-two of the 47th loop
In the morning I had breakfast with my wife and Leah, then took the little one to daycare. On the way to the office I called Dima, who was passing through from Saratov for a single day. We chatted and agreed to have lunch together.
I launched the display module and managed to connect it and program the clock. I still have not managed to connect the GPS module—maybe because I am sitting inside a building. I need to find the documentation for the module. What worries me is that it is possible the power is not getting through—the LEDs are not blinking. Looks like I’ll have to solder.
Dima came by for lunch. It was a very warm meeting. I gave him some books, and we shared news and talked about how things are going in general. I hope I’ll be able to introduce him to the girls soon.
In the evening I studied the language. Amazingly, I have now gone ten days without missing a single lesson—this kind of consistency really builds durable habits. My happy little kitten also called—he was coming back from summer camp. Judging by everything, he really likes it there; he records the pieces they are practicing and takes the training very seriously. It makes me very happy. Good job, son.
