The thirteenth day of the 47th loop

I woke up at 7:15. Right away I completed a lesson in the new language—I made a promise and set a goal in the app to study every day for a month. I’m starting to get into the language; the initial barrier (the blank-page problem) has been passed, and I’m beginning to enjoy it.
I cooked porridge for Leah, sat with her over breakfast, and talked to her. Time flies so fast. I’m already getting real joy from conversations with my three-year-old daughter, though my memories of her birth are still fresh. That speed of time pushes you not to waste it pointlessly but always to improve something in yourself and do something useful for others.
I set myself a fairly ambitious set of goals for this year—hard, but entirely achievable. By day 12 of my year, part of the tasks is already done. Good job, me.
I finished the delayed-publication functionality on the site and fixed several bugs that had been generating incorrect links.
During the day Oleg and I worked on products and prepared for a meeting at the Academy. For lunch we brought in Zhenka again. I gave him some books—I hope they motivate him a little. I made him promise to return to school. If he does not go back to the institute, I will not raise the issue with him again.
At work I was also thinking about some existing problems and came back to an old-new idea :) I described it on the site in an article titled "A Technological Step Backward in Order to Move Forward: Data Transmission Without the Internet." I added the idea to our business initiatives.
The trip to the Academy was moved to Friday, so I spent the rest of the day refining the idea. There are many possible directions for development.
In the evening I picked up my wife and Leah as they were walking back from daycare, then we went to the store and bought vegetables. My body is craving healthy food. I bought daikon radish, carrots, cabbage, and cucumbers, and made excellent healthy salads. In the evening there was a consulting call on one project, and we learned some new and useful things. We are moving toward the goal in small steps.
I made progress in learning the new language, spent half the evening studying, and moved up to third place in the app group in terms of efficiency. My brain is rejoicing over the new skill set. In the evening I finished watching Sharapov. I remembered that actor Viktor Pavlov either studied with my father or worked with him. Moreover, they were born in the same year, only three days apart.
