Robustness

Robustness (English robustness, from robust — “strong,” “solid,” “stable”) is a property of a statistical method that characterizes the independence of research results from the influence of various outliers and its resistance to noise. A robust method is one aimed at detecting outliers, reducing their influence, or excluding them from the sample.
