Humoral

Humoral (from the Greek humor — fluid) is a term related to neurohumoral regulation, a process in which the nervous system and the endocrine system jointly regulate the body’s functions. In this process, nerve impulses and substances carried by the blood (for example, hormones) work together to maintain the constancy of the internal environment of the body (homeostasis) and adapt to changing conditions.
