Day 96 of my 47th year
The elevator was not working in the morning, so Leia and I had to go down the stairs on foot. Right before we left, Masha called and said Sonya had lost her wallet. We found it in the shared hallway on our floor — along with her phone, too. Sonya had run out after Masha without zipping up her backpack, and everything spilled out.
The usual chaos at work: tons of meetings, tasks, and things to do — my head was spinning. I tracked GN’s flight on Flightradar as she flew to the grandkids. I still cannot quite believe she actually went through with it. In the video from her meeting with Misha, Grandma Galya was absolutely glowing with happiness.
In the evening I went to the Pushkin Theater, where various executives and top managers perform in a charity show; today Elena Vladimirovna was performing, and it was very nice to watch my former boss in such a different role. I got home late and talked with a happy Misha as he sorted through gifts.
I went to bed late. Ugh, I am not going to get enough sleep...
