Day 91 of my 47th year
Oatmeal with milk and vanilla for breakfast. Leia was coughing a little (she is not sick — it is a residual cough after an illness, no fever), but I still took her to kindergarten. Later Masha got a message from the teacher saying Leia was not letting the others sleep and was not sleeping herself even though she wanted to, because of the cough and runny nose. I asked my mom to pick her up.
Things at work were more or less calmer, at least in the first half of the day — Golden Autumn had launched. I tried to take the Agrodictation quiz, but the site was completely frozen — someone is going to get yelled at. That is no way to approach work. The functionality was extremely simple, and yet they somehow designed the system so badly that it stopped responding. I spent the whole day on the poultry breeding project, had several meetings, and work was booming. I worked until almost 8 p.m.
I got back closer to 9. I stopped at Perekrestok and bought beets, kiwi, red non-alcoholic wine (day 81 without alcohol, by the way), and mortadella with truffle (sounds cool, right? just cooked sausage), which I suddenly desperately wanted. We had dinner at home, put Leia to bed together with Masha, and called in a new nanny for tomorrow.
