Day 86 of my 47th year
In the morning I managed to sleep in a little because I had a business trip today and the meeting was moved to lunchtime. So I decided not to go to the office in order to save time and stayed home to work and prepare for the meeting. We all had breakfast together; Sonya and Leia did not go to school or kindergarten, and Masha took time off from work.
I left for Sergiev Posad shortly after noon. It took me an hour and forty minutes to get there — heavy traffic, and they are still repairing the highway. The meeting went fairly well overall. We spent about four hours building an implementation plan for the project and discussing next steps. We have so little time, it is brutal — we are taking a risk. I really want to build a good system and implement my index there; it will be very useful for me.
I got home around 8 p.m. I put the girls to bed not too late. Leia had recovered and no longer had a fever. After university, I met Masha at the metro and we walked home together. It was quite warm, dry, and comfortable outside. We bought non-alcoholic wine, sat there sipping it, and talked.
