Day 85 of my 47th year
In the morning I fed the girls rice porridge that Masha had cooked, with no scandals, took Leia to kindergarten, and rushed off to work.
At work it was nonstop calls, meetings, and discussions — no time to actually work. I made the first version of a presentation for Golden Autumn — in my opinion, it is pretty lousy, but there was little time, so it is okay for a first draft. I also arranged tomorrow’s business trip to VNIITIP in Sergiev Posad.
After work I went to the music school for a parent meeting, but first I stopped to pick up Masha, who was outside in the yard with Leia and had no keys. Leia seemed to be getting sick — sluggish and warm. Some things never change over the years: a parent meeting is basically a teacher admiring herself in front of herself and the parents. What could have been said in two sentences got stretched into an hour. Afterward I bought food at McDonald’s (I hate myself), came home, and it turned out Leia really was sick — 38.5°C.
After dinner we turned on Toxic People, laughed a bit, and fell asleep.
