Day 72 of my 47th year
In the morning I made oatmeal for Leia, but she ate reluctantly. I had scrambled eggs made by Masha. I took Leia to kindergarten. They were having a running festival there; it is a shame I found out too late, otherwise I would have joined. Masha and I have been fighting — too much has piled up for both of us, we are tired. I do not know yet what to do about it, but right now I do not feel like doing anything — I have no strength. We will think about it later. I probably should not be writing this here in public. I will probably add password-protected posts later. I will think about it.
At work I took the morning off — I had to go to Timiryazev Academy to deal with checkout-sheet issues and reports. I spent four hours there and walked six kilometers. Their business processes are built in an absolutely awful way. Do not do it like that.
I got to the office around 2 and dove straight into work. I worked until almost 6, then headed home and stopped at Perekrestok for pizza, which became dinner. I spent the evening in the most pointless way possible — my wife first said she had classes, then said the classes were canceled but that she would go to a Shabbat event at Hillel. In the end she spent the whole evening at home. I put Leia to bed and called Misha. We talked for a long time. He sent me a first-person video from marching band rehearsal — he had stuck the phone into his shorts and filmed a song. It turned out very cool. They had a game that evening and were going to perform in costume. Misha was very happy. I miss him terribly.
