Day 54 of the 47th year of my chronology
The traditional morning began with pills, coffee, and a light breakfast. I took Leia to kindergarten — finally to our local one near home. She was once again placed in a group a year older because of another live vaccine in her regular group. At this rate I feel like we are going to graduate from kindergarten ahead of her peers. Overall I am fine with it, because it seems to me that it is better to be the weakest among the best than the best among the weakest — or, put more appropriately for kids, older children have a better influence on communication and social skills, so let her grow that way. The long-awaited reward for Q2 finally came in. Hooray.
On the way to work I recorded a video message for Motya — it was his birthday. I sent him a virtual cake on Telegram; he likes those little virtual gifts. At work I spent the whole day dealing with chicken-related problems, polishing the technical specification, and refining my index. I want to invent and implement an optimal way to encode the index into Data Matrix so it scans quickly. Ira said she was a little tired, but also very pleased with Leia.
I stayed a little late at work and got home only at 8:30 p.m., just as the new nanny Ira was finishing. Leia looked happy; it seems she liked playing with the new nanny. Ira said she was a little tired, but also pleased with Leia.
Again, I passed out quickly in the evening without really managing to do anything. Where do I get more energy? Help.
