Day 111 of my 47th year

In the morning I did not need to drive anyone anywhere — surprisingly calm, unlike the workday itself.
I got to work earlier than usual and jumped straight into it. Meeting after meeting, task after task. In one day I wrote 30 pages of functional requirements for next year’s project; it is turning into a very substantial project. I sent out the technical specification and went to pick up my daughter.
I stopped by Grandma’s to pick up Leia. She was sitting there happily playing with a mosaic construction set. My mom is wonderful — an experienced grandmother who knows how to surprise and engage her grandchildren. She once looked after Mashulya, Nastyona, Misha, a little bit Sonya, and now little Leia too. Leia looked happy. Mom fed me a delicious salad with teriyaki-style sauce and a catfish patty — slightly bitter.
I brought Leia home and on the way we stopped to buy flowers for Masha — it is her birthday tomorrow. We hid the bouquet in Sonya’s room together with the rest of the gifts. On the way to the flower shop Leia fell down and got completely dirty, which upset her enormously.
