Leia woke up in a good mood in the morning, but then her mood worsened and we were walking to kindergarten with tears already. We got there early for dance class, and by then Leia ran off to dance with pleasure.
At work I started preparing background material for the next stage of the breeding project and diving into genetics. I stayed late to edit a new book on the data economy. I wrote more than ten pages of text and crossed out just as much — if only I could write my dissertation at that pace.
On the way home I talked with Igor; we had not seen each other in a long time, and I had missed him. At home I had yesterday’s pilaf for dinner, fed Leia, and ... had no strength left. Another Groundhog Day kind of day. I need to leave work on time.
