Advent Calendar 21

This year I put a lot of effort into developing my online positioning. Last year I finally created my ideal website — subjectively, the best possible one — where I publish information primarily for myself.
I came up with my own visual style (back in 2002, by the way) and turned it into a website that uses only ASCII characters and two colors. The site makes me happy every day. I genuinely enjoy filling it with content.
The site now has many new sections aimed at different audiences, though first and foremost at me. For example, I added a Publications section where I present my academic work and keep adding new pieces as they appear; I also created a very useful section for myself called terms and definitions, where I collect words I use in my writings, as well as new words I come across. That section will appeal to tech geeks and people who enjoy throwing around obscure terms :) I also made a games section, where I conceived, designed, programmed, and debugged games in the visual style of my website. I managed to recreate the vibe of my late-1980s childhood. I also devoted a lot of time to a diary, which I kept diligently for several months, meticulously describing each day.
In short, my website is my fortress. I am happy with it and proud of it. If you liked it too, do not be lazy — click the hearts on the pages you enjoyed. For you it is just one mouse click; for me it is the joy of feedback.
