Advent Calendar 3

Throughout my postgraduate studies, I experimented with data, developed various analysis methods — some useful, some not — wrote an interpreter for the GPSS language with agricultural functions and fuzzy-data processing. I came up with all kinds of things, but I just could not find my real topic. The breakthrough came in February 2025 — specifically on February 21 — when it was as if someone hit me on the head and I started creating. I was writing an article until 6 a.m., describing a method I had been developing in the context of breeding-value assessment in animals, and in the process I realized how universal the approach was.
I was so impressed, inspired, and energized that I worked for more than a day without sleep. When I finally lay down around seven in the morning, my brain was literally sparkling — with my eyes closed I could see sparks and feel an overheated brain inside my skull. An astonishing sensation.
